Our Little Jewels staff and students all celebrated Thanksgiving this past Tuesday and Wednesday, November 22-23 by having our Thanksgiving lunch together. Our staff all pitched in bringing the meal: mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, cold apple cider and two whole delicious turkeys prepared by Mr. Simeon himself!
In preparation for our party, we made festive hats and placemats as well as decorated our class rooms with pumpkins and paper turkeys. Of course, throughout this week, we took time in our small groups to think about all the blessings we are grateful to God for: Jesus, our families, our friends, our warm houses and good food, with all the extra things that make our life so full and happy.
Thank you to all our staff and families who pitched in with our food and decor. To our Little Jewels, we are grateful for each and everyone of you. Each of you is a blessing! Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends. See you all back to school on Monday, November 28! Gobble gobble!
