Our Little Jewelers had loads of fun on our visit to Highland Orchards on November 7, 2016. We got to see inside a gigantic refrigerator filled with apples, made apple cider, assembled our very own scarecrow and ride a hay wagon. We learned about how apples are stored and sorted as well as about what life is like at an apple orchard. Of course, we also snacked on some delicious home-made apple cider donuts and took home some apples!

Thank you to all our chaperones for helping us out on our trip! Thank you also to our friends at Highland Orchards for a great morning at the farm. Here’s to a better apple harvest next year! 🙂
